Scott Spector has more than two decades of experience working with nonprofits and elected officials in Wisconsin and across the country. Scott spent five years as the Government Relations Director and chief lobbyist for the American Federation of Teachers-Wisconsin, where he advocated for public employees and investing in our public schools. After working at the AFT, Scott became the Executive Director of Wisconsin Progress, a nonprofit candidate recruitment and training organization. Over his five years running the organization, Wisconsin Progress recruited and trained hundreds of candidates for local and state legislative office in every corner of Wisconsin. Scott has managed both of Senator Tammy Baldwin’s reelection campaigns, winning by an 11-point margin in 2018 and emerging as one of the only successful Democratic Senate incumbents in 2024. Scott also served as Senior Advisor for President Joe Biden’s successful election campaign in 2020.
Although a native New Yorker, Scott has called Wisconsin home since 2002. He lives in Madison with his wife and two children. He studied Political Science as an undergraduate at the University of Wisconsin-Madison and earned a master’s degree in Education and Politics from Teachers College at Columbia University.

Meghan Roh is a seasoned public affairs and strategic communications professional with nearly two decades of experience across state and federal government, political campaigns, and the private sector.
From 2017 to 2020, Meghan served as Director of Public Relations at health care software giant Epic, reporting directly to the CEO as the first person to hold this role in the company’s 40-year history. In 2016, she was appointed by President Barack Obama to serve as a Director of Public Affairs and Communications at the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), where she collaborated with the White House and the Office of the Secretary on key health technology initiatives. Previously, Meghan held senior communications roles on Capitol Hill with Senators Tammy Baldwin and Patty Murray, and Representative Ron Kind. In 2015, she was elected President of the Senate Press Secretaries Association, the Hill’s largest bipartisan network of current and former Senate communicators. Meghan began her public service career in the office of Wisconsin Governor Jim Doyle.
Meghan earned her Bachelor of Arts in both Political Science and Legal Studies from the University of Wisconsin–Madison, where she was a letterwinner on the NCAA Division I women’s rowing team. Born and raised in Tomah, Wisconsin, Meghan now lives in Madison with her husband and two daughters and serves as Board Chair of Planned Parenthood Advocates of Wisconsin.

Senior Political Associate
Ashley Franz is a political strategist with nearly a decade of high-profile campaign experience in Wisconsin. As a Senior Political Associate at Spector Roh Strategies, Ashley develops and executes strategic plans to elect progressive candidates and advance issue-based initiatives. Most recently, she served as Deputy Campaign Manager for Judge Susan Crawford’s 2025 bid for the Wisconsin Supreme Court, helping lead the team to a decisive 10-point victory.
Ashley began her career working on Senator Tammy Baldwin’s successful 2018 reelection campaign, contributing to a double-digit victory in one of the most closely watched Senate races in the country. She went on to serve in the administration of Governor Tony Evers, where she helped implement statewide policy priorities and supported intergovernmental affairs.
A proud Wisconsin native, Ashley holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. She currently lives in Madison where she enjoys tending to her garden and spending time with her dogs, Dill and Basil.

Senior Communications Associate
Morgan Grunow is a strategic communications professional who executes compelling campaigns to influence policy and win elections at the state and federal levels. For nearly four years at Spector Roh Strategies, Morgan has deployed earned and paid media strategies to advance progressive policies focused on democracy, child care, health care and paid leave. During election cycles, Morgan coordinates independent expenditure campaigns in support of progressive candidates running for State Legislature and Congress. In 2024, Morgan managed a successful $2.5 million IE campaign in support of State Senate and Assembly candidates, positioning progressives to take the majority in both state houses in 2026. Before joining Spector Roh Strategies, Morgan was the Communications Manager for the League of Women Voters of Wisconsin.
Morgan graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2020 with a B.A. in Journalism and Mass Communication. In her free time, Morgan enjoys spending time outdoors with friends and family, running and cooking.
